What we offer
Three ways we turn ideas into something you can build
We're a small team with a clear focus: take the ideas, wants, and needs of a community and carry them as far down the road to reality as we can. Here's how.
Design Translation
We turn the ideas, wants, and needs of a community — gathered in meetings and on-site — into clear, actionable concepts.
Design Visualization
We turn concepts into tangible sketches and renders so everyone can see and rally around the same vision.
Design Bridging
We draft schematic designs and scaled drawings you can use to petition for funding, volunteers, and professional services — and we'll point you to the right architects or landscape architects when needed.
How a project usually goes
- 1
Show up
We come to a cleanup, a board meeting, or office hours in the park — and we listen.
- 2
Translate
We turn what we heard into a clear concept and a simple one-pager.
- 3
Visualize
We sketch and render so the whole community can see the idea.
- 4
Bridge
We hand you drawings you can take to funders, volunteers, and the city.
Free, while we grow
Our current capacity lets us help with small-scale, small-scope projects at no cost — our way of investing in the neighborhoods we love. As the collaborative grows, we'll take on larger paid work and keep reinvesting a share back into community projects.
Where we're headed
Growing into a full collaborative
Design is where we start. Over time, the round table expands to cover the whole arc of a project:
- Owner's Representation
- Preconstruction (estimating, scheduling, target-value)
- Construction Management & Design-Build
- Small Development & Joint Ventures
- Research & Community Engagement
